Richards High School in Oak Lawn proudly announces that 26 members of the 2024 senior class have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission.
Roughly 10 percent of the state’s high school seniors earn this recognition each year. In order to earn Illinois State Scholar honors, students must rank in the top half of their graduating class and score in the 95th percentile of the ACT or SAT.
Richards seniors named Illinois State Scholars this year include Amelia Benson, Oswaldo Cadenas, Abigail Cole, Mary Gacek, Mya Garcia, Natalie Gargasz, Sebastian Gasinski, Aryan Jain, Aine Kelly, Keegan Krawczyk, Malik LaValle, Madeline Lichter.
