
The varsity and junior varsity boys bowling teams from Richards High School both won the South Suburban Conference Red Division championship last weekend.
Varsity won by 347 pins and JV by 419. Sophomore Matt La Bonte won the SSC individual championship for varsity with a 235 average.
The Bulldogs placed three others -- none seniors -- on the All-SSC team. Junior Dan Christian took fourth (216), junior Max Simik took fifth (210), and sophomore Owen Szarley took seventh (208).

Bulldogs swept the top three places for junior varsity.
Freshman Blake Attig won the conference championship with a 214 average. Freshman Trevor Coffman (194 average) took second, and freshman Josh Barr (191) took third. Freshman John Englund (184 average) took seventh to join them on the All-SSC team.
