Richards a cappella group to national semifinals

Gold Nation advances from Great Lakes regional!

Gold Nation, the a cappella group from Richards High School, took second place at the Varsity Vocals International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) this past weekend at the Great Lakes Quarterfinal at Buffalo Grove High School.

Richards student Cheyenne Martin also received an Outstanding Soloist Award.

Gold Nation now advances to the ICHSA semifinals at Pabst Theater in Milwaukee on Saturday, March 12 where they will compete against the top two groups from each of other four quarterfinal contests held in the Great Lakes region.
