
The varsity girls bowling team from Richards High School qualified for the IHSA state finals by taking fourth place at the IHSA Sectional hosted by Romeoville High School on Saturday.
Katie Strache led Richards with a 1216 series -- Mia Jones rolled (1187) and Jacy Rogers (1021) had the two next highest scores.
Katie, Mia, Jacy and teammates Kamari Hayes, Alexis Huscher, Yarah Damra, Noelani Guerrero and Natalia Stekala will leave for state in Rockford on Thursday morning.
