Richards to host event for teens tonight

During these trying and challenging times for kids, Richards High School worked with Oak Lawn Community High School to provide an opportunity for kids to gather for some fun.

Richards will host an open gym with music, board games, refreshments and more from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 10.

These conversations about this event and others in our district for our kids occurred well before any decisions related to other events. Our opportunity for kids has nothing to do with any community events not being offered to our kids.

CHSD 218 understands the challenges mall and municipalities face with safety and setting boundaries for events.

This event is only open to Richards and Oak Lawn high school students, who must show ID to enter.
