The Richards High School softball program will host its annual Strikeout Cancer fund raiser on Saturday, May 11.
The event annual honors Christa Carbray Johnson, who died a few years ago after a long battle. A beloved teammate, Christa was a young wife and mother when she died.
The event also honors Abby Wujcik, an 8-year old who died in 2013 from a brain tumor. She's the daughter of Kristyn and Kevin Wujcik, who graduated from Richards, and the niece of varsity baseball coach Brian Wujcik.

Varsity plays at 10 a.m. and the sophomores at 12:30 p.m.
Richards will serve complimentary food between the varsity and sophomore games. Raffles include gift baskets and these beautiful bean bag boards.
