
Richards High School in Oak Lawn proudly announces that 26 members of the 2025 senior class have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission.
Roughly 10 percent of the state’s high school seniors earn this recognition each year. In order to earn Illinois State Scholar honors, students must rank in the top half of their graduating class and score in the 95th percentile of the ACT or SAT.
Richards seniors named Illinois State Scholars this year are Sereen Alassaf, Zeinab Aoun, Claire Begani, Reema Beirat, Halle Bradbury, Joshua Brown, Sebastian Gargasz, Deana Hasan, Alan Huang, Helen Huang, Mohammad Khalil, Christa Klonowski, Victoria (Tori) Lia, Nathan Lindsey, Emily Lopez-Torres, Rawan Mahmoud, Ghena Moteb, Sierra Reis, Carter Rohe, Mahmood Sadeq, Rhodelyn Salacsacan, Jacie Strelow, Madison Swann, Amira White, Brooks Willers, and Sylvia Zaborowski.
