First-year Richards High School band director Felix Ponce last week celebrated the selection of the following students to the South Suburban Conference Honors Band: Amelia Benson, Danna Butnariu, Darius Butnariu, Mary Gacek, Rani Ramirez, Rhodelyn Salacsacan, Aldo Sanchez, Cal Sheahan, and Julia Stalzer.
