
The Richards High School varsity and junior varsity boys bowling teams both won first place at the Oak Lawn Invitational this weekend.
Varsity took first with a team average of 205. Medalists included junior Matt LaBonte (fourth place, 231 average), senior Dan Christian (seventh place, 212 average) and senior Max Simik (ninth place, 209 average).
JV took first place with a team average of 186. The Bulldogs had four medalists: Champion sophomore Trevor Coffman (208 average), sophomore Blake Attig (fourth place, 192 average), sophomore Nick Schopper (seventh place, 183 average), as sophomore Brendan Flahive (ninth place, 177 average).
