Richards varsity girls bowling team wins IHSA Regional championship
SSC champions sweep top three individual places
The varsity girls bowling team from Richards High School won first place on Saturday at the IHSA Regional tournament hosted by Hinsdale Central.
The South Suburban Conference champions won first place by 475 pins and captured the top three individual spots.
Senior Alexandra Wozniak took first with 1,344 pins (224 average); senior Gina Bartkus took second with a total pinfall of 1,221(204 average). and senior Peyton Attig finished third with a 1,211 series (202 average).

The team advanced to the sectional tournament next Saturday at Palos Lanes.
