The Richards High School girls tennis team won first place on Saturday at the first-year player tournament hosted by Eisenhower High School.
Team members include, from left, Ariana Cumpian, Marcella Vazquez, Andrea Abarca, Adriana Laciak, Laryz Catapat, Rawda Al-Gazawy, Asrah Alhabib, Marel Doon, Savannah Vahl, and Julie Casey.
A sweep of the doubles divisions highlighted the team win. The teams of Savannah Vahl and Julie Casey (first doubles) and Andrea Abarca and Marel Doon (second doubles) both took first place.
