Volleyball: Sectional Champions for the Fifth Straight Year!
The CCHS Knights volleyball team is on a historic run, having just claimed their 5th straight Sectional Championship with a commanding 25-20, 25-20 victory over Wilmington! This hard-fought win cements their status as one of the top teams in the region, and they’re not stopping here. The Knights have been a powerhouse in their sectional, and their performance in this championship match is a testament to their skill, teamwork, and unwavering focus.
With this win, the team is now preparing for Super-Sectionals this Monday, November 11, at Seneca High School. The match is set to begin at 6:00 PM, and the Knights are looking to continue their quest for a state title. Their performance has been nothing short of stellar, and fans are eager to see them take on the next challenge on their road to glory.

Cross Country: Knights Head to State!
The CCHS cross country team has qualified three runners for the state finals, and they are ready to take on the best of the best at the prestigious IHSA State Cross Country Championships.
Girls: Kihra Moes and Abby Mullin will be competing on Saturday, November 9, at 9:00 AM at Detweiller Park in Peoria, IL. Both girls have been outstanding this season, and their journey to state is a well-earned reward for their hard work and dedication.

Boys: Jed Batayola, representing the Knights on the boys' side, will compete at 10:00 AM. Jed has been a standout all season and is ready to tackle the challenging course and represent CCHS with pride.
Fans heading to Peoria to cheer on the team should note that there is a $15 vehicle parking fee at the venue, so plan ahead.
This is an exciting moment for CCHS cross country to have multiple runners again qualify for state. The entire community is rooting for these talented athletes to make a splash and bring home the hardware!
Football: Knights Look to Keep the Dream Alive
The CCHS football team is also in full swing, as they prepare for the second round of the IHSA Class 2A Football Playoffs on Saturday, November 9. The Knights will face off against Downs (Tri-Valley) in a highly anticipated matchup that is sure to showcase some thrilling football action.

Location: Downs (Tri-Valley), 503 E Washington, Downs, IL (approximately a 2-hour drive from CCHS)
Tickets: $7 (Cash only)
