Evergreen Park, IL -- The Evergreen Park woman accused of posting a Facebook threat stating that she would shoot all police officers was back in court Monday requesting to leave the state of Illinois for a bartending gig.

Jenesis Reynolds, 24, of the 9500 block of South Richmond Avenue, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct based on a Facebook, in which she allegedly said if stopped by police and requested to get out of the car “I’m shooting instantly. It may not solve anything and yes I will die but Jenesis will be revelation for my people.”

She continued her post saying she was “willing to take one for team, I have no problem shooting a cop for simple traffic stop cuz they’d have no problem doing it to me.”

Reynolds was arrested on July 8 and was released on a $75 I-bond, said Captain Peter Donovan of the Evergreen Park Police Department.

On Monday, Reynolds was at the Bridgeview Courthouse, asking Cook County Judge Michael Caine if she could change her court appearance on Aug. 11 because she would be out of state for work purposes.

She also asked for permission to leave the state.

Judge Caine asked Reynolds what type of work she did.

“I’m a mixologist, a bartender,” Reynolds said, explaining that she would be in Louisville working.

The judge set a new court date of Sept. 19. He also gave Reynolds permission to leave the state.
