It could be you any Thursday evening now at St. James Place, 5305 West 95th Street in Oak Lawn, with a Queen of Hearts total of more than $23,000, half of which will raise funds for Christmas Without Cancer and the other half prize money for the lucky card holder.
"St. James is a godsend for us,” said Gerri Neylon, founder of Christmas Without Cancer. “Our season might not begin until we hold our 5K in September but the fine people of St. James and their patrons know we can always help people locally with money to pay bills, medicines or parking at hospitals. The need is great all year.”

Like the happy totals, the crowds have grown in recent weeks as the long-time Oak Lawn establishment hosts local walk-ups, regulars, baseball fans and people escaping the heat for a great summer meal indoors.
