Sandy Berg Leads Oak Lawn Badminton By Example
Oak Lawn Community High School girls tennis player Sandy Berg boasts best singles record on team as the Spartans head into conference play.

OAK LAWN, IL — A coach always likes to see players give full effort in every practice and improve a little bit each day. For Oak Lawn Community High School head badminton coach Elianna La Spina, she has that in Sandy Berg.
Berg has the best singles record on the team, and yet she heads into each practice with focus and will to get better at what she does. This attitude rubs off on the teammates, and the Spartans hope that it leads to more success on the court.
“She attends each practice and match ready to play,” La Spina said. “Her competitive spirit is reflected by her success on the court. Sandy is determined to learn and improve her skills each day.”
