We promised we would showcase all of your favorite characters from Judy Blume’s, “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing”… and here they are!
What’s better than blankets, books, and fresh air in the park? How about a character parade at the beginning of the school year!
Students from Hannum Elementary School received a copy of Judy Blume’s, “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” and were challenged to read the book as a family throughout the summer. Families met with Mrs. McGovern, principal of Hannum Elementary, several times under the coverage of a shade tree at Sullivan Park in Oak Lawn, where they read the book together as a group.
The final activity of this challenge took place on Wednesday, August 28th, as students paraded around Hannum School dressed as their favorite characters. Who is your favorite character?
