2 Vehicles Shot In Traffic On Cicero Avenue: Oak Lawn Police

The shots are believed to have been fired from another vehicle that was in traffic on Cicero Avenue Thursday evening, Oak Lawn Police said.

OAK LAWN, IL — UPDATED: Two vehicles were struck by gunfire Thursday evening near 105th Street and Cicero Avenue.

Just after 7:30 p.m., an Oak Lawn police sergeant heard multiple gunshots being fired on Cicero Avenue. The officer learned that two vehicles were hit but no one was injured.

Police could be seen combing through shell casings scattered on the median and some in the northbound lane of Cicero Avenue, a witness told Patch.

Traffic was shut down on Cicero for approximately two hours while police looked for evidence

The shots are believed to have been fired from another vehicle that was in traffic on Cicero Avenue. Detectives are still investigating, OLPD said in an email.
