Shepard girls tennis seniors thank favorite teachers

A two decade tradition: Flowers and cards of gratitude.

Coach Kelly Myron and the Shepard High School girls tennis program added the latest chapter to one of our best traditions yesterday morning.

Senior players surprised favorite teachers with orange roses and thank you cards expressing their gratitude for inspiring them to give their best and serving as positive role models.

Myron organizes this beautiful event, which started more than two decades ago with retired Shepard teacher Glenn Simms, the day prior to the conference tournament.
