Shepard softball sponsors Teacher Appreciation Week

Each year the Shepard High School softball program sponsors Teacher Appreciation Week to allow players to recognize staff members who have served as positive role models and motivated them to give their best.

"The week is filled with treats, gifts and personal touches followed up with a game that we invite them to," said varsity head coach Kelsey Clifford.

This week teachers received letters, candy, cookies a new Shepard softball T-shirt, and more.

"The girls each select two teachers that have made an impact on their education and have played an influential role in who they are. The teachers love being spoiled and the kids love seeing their teachers beam with excitement," she said.
