Man Shot At Bridgeview Funeral Home

BRIDGEVIEW, IL - Officials have confirmed one victim in what was previously reported as a "shots fired" call at a funeral home in Bridgeview Wednesday night. A spokesman for the village of Bridgeview said a Hispanic man in his 20s was shot at the Hann Funeral Home at 8230 S. Harlem Ave. just before 8 p.m. The man was treated by medical personnel, and the injury was described as non-life threatening.

Reports from individuals on social media regarding a possible manhunt for a suspect have not been confirmed. Tri-State Fire Alerts reports on Facebook indicate several police K9 teams were called to the scene.

A village spokesman said police are "investigating and pursuing all leads." There was no information on a description of the alleged shooter as of 9 p.m. Wednesday.
