Shots Fired Outside Chicago Ridge Mall, 'Numerous' People Interviewed
Chicago Ridge police said multiple shots were fired Thursday evening outside of Buffalo Wild Wings at the mall. The gun was recovered.
CHICAGO RIDGE, IL — Police are interviewing numerous people after a gun was fired Thursday evening outside the Chicago Ridge Mall.
Around 8:20 p.m, police responded to a shots-fired call at Buffalo Wild Wings, on the east side of the mall facing Ridgeland Avenue.
Officers confirmed that multiple rounds were fired by someone from the group. The gun used has been recovered. This is an isolated incident and at this time, there is no further threat to the public.
