Congratulations to the Simmons Declamation Team on their great performances at the April 10th SWIC Conference Meet at Tinley Central. Haven Rupsch won a 1st Place individual medal for her Verse Poetry reading and Alexus Martinez and Victoria Prause also won a 1st Place individual medal for their Humorous Duet piece. These talented individuals were joined on the SWIC team by Melanie Cabrera, Mariam Chuli, Zaina Bazed, and Matthew Perry. The entire Simmons Declamation Team took home an overall 2nd Place SCHOOL-WIDE trophy for their performance as a team. Every Simmons performer finished in 6th place or higher.
