Snapchat Coke Deal To Confidential Source Leads To Arrest: Cops

Confidential source working for Chicago Ridge police reached out to sellers on Snapchat, prosecutor said.

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL -- A drug deal set up on Snapchat led to the arrest of two people, prosecutors said. Kenneth Tillman, 25, of Chicago, and Samantha Kerr, 21, of Dyer, IN, appeared before Judge Peter Felice on charges of possession a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

According to the charges, a confidential source working for the Chicago Ridge Police Department, reached out to Kerr on Snapchat on Nov. 27. The confidential source ordered coating and twenty pills for $200. A meet-up was planned near 111th Street and Natchez in Worth.

A man, later identified as Tillman, pulled up to meet the confidential source. Tillman got out of the car and went to meet the confidential source. Kerr allegedly told the source that they only had cocaine for sale and not pills. Tillman became afraid when he saw police, and told the confidential source to drive up the street a few blocks, the prosecutor said.
