Socially Distant Santa Lands Saturday On Oak Lawn Village Green
Kids can still visit Santa but from a distance Saturday, Nov. 27, at Santa On the Green in Oak Lawn.

OAK LAWN, IL — Santa will be landing on the village green this Saturday, Nov. 27, for his annual visit to Oak Lawn. The Jolly Old Elf will be enjoying social distant visits with youngsters from noon to 3 p.m. at the gazebo behind the library at 9446 S. Raymond Ave.
This is the second consecutive year that Santa On the Green has been scaled back because of the pandemic, but members of the Oak Lawn Arts and Events Commission have several tricks up their elfin sleeves to make it fun for believers of all ages.
The yuletide celebration will be held entirely outdoors. Kids will play festive games while they wait in line to see Santa. Santa's BFF Frosty and the Grinch will be strolling the green, which will be all decked out for the holidays.
