Southside Shooters Bring Home Hardware

Saturday May 19, The Southside Shooters 8th Grade team competed in the ONE DAY Shootout Championship at Wheaton Academy. The Shooters went 3-0 for the Tourney. They beat Basketball Paradise 51-36, Bobcats 48-42, and the Knocks Beavers 63-43 in the Championship Game. The Team continued their winning ways on Sunday in the GSBS League at the Swanson Center in Bedford Park. In game 1, they beat the Beyond The Arc Bulldogs 61-29, and George Shimko Basketball Stars Black 52-34. The Shooters finished the regular season with a 7-1 record and hold the Number 1 seed for the playoffs.
