Spartan Bowler Charlie Dell Named Oak Lawn 'January Male Athlete Of The Month'
"Charlie averaged over 219 pins a game for two days and is one of the best bowlers in the state," OLCHS Head Coach Kevin Walery said.

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School senior Charlie Dell took the month of January and made it his own.
He took second place at the South Suburban Conference Red bowling meet and helped the Spartans secure their fifth-straight title there. He finished fourth and medaled at the Illinois High School Association Regional meet, and he helped the team win its third-straight regional championship.
He then helped the Spartans qualify for the IHSA State Finals with a strong performance at the sectional meet. Finally, last week he capped off his high school bowling career with an All-State Top 10 finish at the IHSA State Finals.

He was recognized for the accomplishments by being selected as the Spartan Athlete of the Month for January.
“Charlie averaged over 219 pins a game for two days and is one of the best bowlers in the state,”OLCHS head coach Kevin Walery said. “It was the second-highest finish at the IHSA State Finals for any OLCHS bowlers.”
