Spartan Football Players Announce College Plans

Spartan players move on to SXU and Ohio Northern University.

Oak Lawn, IL -- A sure sign of the Oak Lawn Community High School football team’s success are players continuing their playing careers in college. Three Spartans announced their college football plans.

Joe Quigley (tight end) and David Ward (linebacker) are staying local and will attend Saint Xavier University this fall. and chose to attend Saint Xavier University this fall.

Quigley will compete for a spot at tight end.

“I am excited for what the next level holds for me and the memories I will make,” Quigley said of the upcoming opportunity to play football at SXU. “I am very blessed and couldn’t have come this far without the support of my parents and coaches.”

Quintin Prince is headed to Ohio Northern University. He is an accomplished linebacker.

“Honestly, I am blessed to be able to continue my career in football at Ohio Northern University,” Prince said. “I am very excited to test my limits, and I am thankful for the support of my family, friends, and coaches for helping me through this process.”
