Spartan Running Back Rakan Eid Earns All-Conference Honors
Oak Lawn Community High School senior running back Rakan Eid tallied multiple 100-yard rushing games for the Spartans in the 2022 season.

OAK LAWN, IL — Hard work pays off, and for Oak Lawn Community High School senior Rakan Eid, it paid off with a starting spot at running back after being a backup as a junior, and it led to earning All-South Suburban Conference Red status. It was a big year for the back, who tallied multiple 100-yard rushing games.
Next up in Eid’s “hard work” tour is wrestling. He will hit the mat this winter and try to continue his success.
“Rakan has been very reliable,” OLCHS head coach Ryan Pattison said. “He had a tremendous off-season and worked his way up the depth chart to be a starter this season. He impressed coaches in the conference. Rakan has put a new expectation on what it takes to be the starting running back for the Spartans moving forward.”
