Spartan Wrestler Eliana Caudillo Realizes Potential With 16 Pins in Girls Wrestling

OAK LAWN, IL — Getting 19 wins on the season is impressive, but the fact that Eliana Caudillo has 16 pins in those 19 wins is even more impressive. So far this year, she has compiled a record of 19-8 for the Oak Lawn Community High School girls wrestling team.

“This shows her ability to finish matches in dominant fashion,” OLCHS head coach Matt Arthur said. “Eliana has shown tremendous growth and improvement since last season, both in her technique and confidence on the mat.

“While it has taken time for her to fully realize her true potential, that hard work and patience are clearly paying off. She is now coming into her own as a wrestler and becoming a strong competitor in her weight class.”
