Special Recreation Day At Ozinga Field Supports Local Athletes
Tickets are on sale now for Special Recreation Day at Ozinga Field when SRASA athletes play a softball exhibition game Sunday, May 15.

OAK LAWN, IL — Join the Windy City ThunderBolts for the seventh annual Special Recreation Day, when the Special Recreation Athletic Support Association hit the diamond at Ozinga Field for an exhibition softball game on Sunday, May 15.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10, with 100 percent of proceeds going to support athletes and families of SRASA. The special rec league draws players from Bridgeview, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Cicero, Crestwood, Evergreen Park, Hometown, Justice, Oak Lawn, Palos Hills and Summit.
Players are not only great athletes, they’re great entertainers. The afternoon exhibition game also features a performance by the Oak Lawn Pep Squad cheerleaders.

Gates open at noon, with the exhibition softball game starting at 12:30 p.m. The pep squad will perform at 1:40 p.m., followed by the ThunderBolts-Quebec Capitales game at 2:05 p.m. Ozinga Field is located at 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood.
