Springing Into Summer Craft And Vendor Show Features 65 Vendors

OAK LAWN, IL — Local and small businesses, many of them women-owned, are coming together to host the “Springing Into Summer Craft and Vendor Show,” this Sunday, May 5. The show features over 65 vendors and runs from noon to 4 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Lawn.

Yoyo Bella Co., Nikki Vees Pretties and R&R Fashion Boutique are organizing the show in honor of Cinco de Mayo.

“These vendors are all amazing. I tried to balance them out so there’s a wide variety,” said Yvetye Velazquez, owner of Yoyo Bella Company, of Burbank, who makes bath and body products in her kitchen.

Admission is free and each shopper will receive three raffle tickets. Food vendors will be selling Mexican-inspired dishes. Table seating will be available so you can sit down and eat your food.

V’Sora Catering Company will be serving up a Cinco De Mayo lunch, complemented by Juju Cakes and Ruby’s Pies’ Latin-inspired desserts.

Lucia’s Speciality Sips and Snacks is providing specialty non-alcoholic drinks and beef sandwiches. She will also have soda available for purchase.

Gooby’s Treats & Trinkets is selling chocolate-covered grapes and Jolly Rancher suckers. Tis Cheesecake is bringing her cheesecakes and Theecookie2win will be serving up cookies and delicious pound cake.

Vendor spots are completely filled, so if somebody tries to sell you a spot on social media you’re being scammed.
