Squabble Over Cost of Crack Leads to Narcotic Charge: Prosecutor
"You're too old to be doing that ... you're going to have a heart attack," judge tells accused 53-year-old crack dealer.

A 53-year-old man was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police spotted him arguing in a car with a woman, prosecutors said.
According to the charges, a patrol officer saw Ronald Jackson arguing with a woman in the 8000 block of South Nottingham Avenue in Burbank around 8:26 p.m. April 6.
The prosecutor said the woman told them she was trying to buy crack but the price was more money than she had.

While speaking to Jackson, the Burbank police officer noticed a film of white powdery residue on the floor of the car, along with a glass pipe, police said.
Prosecutor said the officer found 4.5 grams of cocaine in Jackson’s pocket, which she said field tested positive for cocaine.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Jackson was on disability and was suffering from serious medical issues.
"You're too old to be doing that crap, assuming you are," Cook County Judge Peter Felice said. "You're going to have a heart attack."
The judge set bail at $25,000 and ordered random drug testing. Jackson is due back in court April 28 in Bridgeview.
