St. Albert the Great School- Basketball Champions!

The St. Albert the Great Coed Bitty Basketball Team won the 2022 Championship game. The Bitty Basketball Team consists of students from 3rd and 4th grade. After not having sports last year due to covid, our students returned to the basketball court with practices being held at various sites in Burbank. The St. Albert the Great School basketball season runs from November to March.

On March 14th, the Bitty Basketball team won their semi-final game at Hale Park against St. Daniel the Prophet’s Navy team. The final tournament was held on March 21st, at Hale Park against Bridgeport Catholic Academy. St. Albert the Great was victorious over Bridgeport Catholic Academy, securing the Championship title. Students were excited and had a huge fan crowd that showed their support.
Coaches Mrs. Carrano, Mr. Moreno, and Mr. Yanez helped guide the team to victory.
St. Albert the Great School offers coed Basketball as extracurricular activity to students from grade 3rd to 8th.
