The St. Albert the Great School Science Bowl Team came in first place in the competition held at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School on March 24th.

St. Albert the Great had two teams consisting of seventh grade students. One team competed in three rounds while the other team competed in four rounds. The 2022 Science Bowl was hosted by Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School; there were 14 teams in total from 11 Catholic Schools. The Science Bowl is a game style, fast paced question and answer format testing students’ knowledge on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, earth science, physics and math. Students answered questions individually and as a team. While on a break, the students visited Mother McCauley’s science lab and participated in experiments. Students showcased their science, technology, and engineering skills.
Thanks to our seventh grade teacher Ms. Katello that helped guide the team to victory. It was a great experience for all of our students and we are so proud of them!
