St. Albert the Great School Seeks Alumni To Sign Up for Directory
St. Albert the Great School calls all alumni far and wide to register their current contact info in the alumni directory for future events.
BURBANK, IL -- St. Albert the Great School in Burbank is calling all alumni far and wide to register for the alumni directory. The alumni directory is being coordinated by Debbie Polignone, who grew up in Burbank attending the Catholic grammar school as well as Reavis High School. The directory will be used to notify SAG alumni of future reunions and happenings at the school.
Last year alumni gathered for a “Great Event” at St. Albert the Great, and another reunion is being planned for March 24 in Rogers Hall underneath the church at 5535 S State Road, Burbank. Someone else important to the school will be inducted into the St. Albert the Great School Hall of fame. In 2017 a former teacher was recognized. Graduating classes ending in “3,” beginning with the graduating eighth grade of 1963 and forward, will also be recognized.
“Last year’s great event was quite successful last year and we’re hoping that it will grow each year,” Polignone said.

All that is required of registering for the St. Albert the Great School alumni directory is your name, email address and the year that you graduated. Alumni can also access the school’s website to enter their information in the directory. Information will be used solely to notify alumni of future events and school news, and will not be sold or used for commercial purposes. Poligone can also enter alumni’s information for them.
An alumni Facebook group has also been created where proud St. Albert the Great graduates can catch up with old friends and share memories about their growing up years.

“Please share with siblings, cousins, old neighbors and friends,” Poligone said. “It literally takes less than two minutes to register for the directory.”
St. Albert the Great School’s current enrollment is hovering around 200. Poligone hopes that with old friends coming together, alumni can help boost enrollment. For more information and to register for the alumni directory, shoot Debbie an email at debpoli15@gmail.com.
