St. Catherine Coat Drive Keeps Local Families Warm This Winter
St. Catherine of Alexandria students collect dozens of winter coats and jackets for the Worth Township Youth Commission coat drive.
OAK LAWN, IL — Thanks to the thoughtfulness of St. Catherine of Alexandria students, dozens of families in Worth Township will be warm this winter. The Oak Lawn Catholic grammar school and parish collected dozens of gently used winter coats, jackets and winter gear, including hats, gloves, boots and scarves.
St. Catherine students delivered the winter gear before the Thanksgiving break at Worth Township Hall in Alsip. They also carted donated items upstairs at the township building, sorted donations and hung all the jackets on hangers.
