Carnival Magic at St. Catherine of Alexandria

If you're wondering what all the hubbub is about it's probably St. Catherine of Alexandria's parish carnival.

Everyone is invited to attend to St. Catherine's to experience the carnival magic. Sorry for Partying rocked the carnival on Friday. According to some of Oak Lawn Patch's Facebook fans, nobody was sorry for partying last night.

St. Catherine's parish carnival runs from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday; and 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Here's a rundown of the rest of the weekend's schedule:

Saturday (June 8)

  • “Jimmy Buffet Night” theme night
  • Dancing Noodles, 8-11:30 p.m.

Sunday  (June 9)


  • Mass under the tent, 11 a.m. weather permitting
  • Senior Sunday Specials, 2-4 p.m.
  • “Come Say Good-bye to Mrs. Connors,” 5:30 p.m.
  • The Drop, 4-6 p.m.
  • Sean and Charlie, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Food, beer, spirits, rides and Bingo in the air-conditioned parish hall are featured throughout the weekend. $20 buys you unlimited rides for the day.
