State-Sponsored Job Fair and Workshop Planned for Aug. 28
Illinois agencies host job fair discussing application process and state employment opportunities at Chicago Ridge Library on Aug. 28.

Have you always dreamed of working for the State of Illinois? If government work intrigues you, the Bureau of Personnel Diversity Enrichment Program will be presenting a workshop on applying for state employment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives of Central Management Services (CMS) and other Illinois agencies to discuss state employment opportunities at the Chicago Ridge Public Library at 10400 Oxford Ave. The workshop runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 28. Bring a resume and/or printed work history with you.
The hands-on workshop is presented by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services Diversity Enrichment Program. Participants will get valuable tips on navigating the state employment application process and learn more about state employment opportunities. The Illinois job fair is co-sponsored by State Rep.
