Summer Theatre Camp Continues on 93rd Street
The 93rd Street Summer Theatre Festival Kids Kamp offers creative learning and chances to perform in two Disney musicals.

The 93rd Street Summer Theatre Festival Kids Kamp (formerly the 99th Street Summer Theatre Festival) is moving to Beverly and will be presenting the camp at Christ The King’s Theatre in conjunction with the Christ the King Parish Drama Program.
The program will be open to all students from ANY school in grades K-9. Kids Kamp features creative learning and fun combined with full production experience for all students. The program will run June 29t-July 18t with the final performances on July 17 and 18.

The Kamp runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., allowing students to have plenty of time for summer outdoor fun and other camps. Classes, rehearsals and performances will be held at Christ the King Parish, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave. in the heart of Beverly.
The program will present two shows: High School Musical Jr. performed by students in grades 6-9 students, and Disney’s Cinderella Kids by students in grades K-5.

In addition to rehearsals the students will be involved in enrichment classes in the performing arts and a specialty class of their choosing. Kids Kampers may choose to audition for the 93rd Street Summer Theatre Festivals evening show State Fair (not part of the Kamp).
The program has been very successful for the past 25 years and members of the staff believe so strongly in arts education for children and its importance, that they have moved the program to Beverly.
