Tenacious Krzystof Shuts Down Opponents In OLCHS Girls Basketball
Rising star Teagan Krzystof has improved her game to become one of the team's top defenders in Oak Lawn Community High School girls hoops.

OAK LAWN, IL — In her second year on the varsity girls’ basketball team for Oak Lawn Community High School, sophomore Teagan Krzystof has improved her game to become one of the team’s top defenders. When that is combined with her three-point shooting and aggressive attitude, it adds up to becoming a rising star for the Spartans.
“The leaps she has made as a player – improving her game from her freshman year until this season – have been outstanding,” said head coach Mark Sevedge. “She has become one of our top two defenders, always getting the assignment of guarding our opponent’s best or second-best player. What makes her such a great defender is her attention to detail off the ball. Teagan is always in the right spot to be able to help her teammates when needed.
“Offensively, Teagan is leading the team in made three-pointers with 26, she is shooting 33-percent from three-point land, 54-percent from inside the arc, and 70-percent from the free-throw line.”
