'That's Not Even Prime Beef,' Judge Tells Man Accused of Swiping Choice Cut Steaks
Man charged with retail theft for stealing steaks from discount supermarket, prosecutor says.

A man was arrested for felony retail theft after he stole six choice strip steaks from a discount supermarket in Alsip, prosecutors said.
According to the charges, Charles Baker went to Aldi Foods, 11340 S. Cicero Ave., Alsip, on Nov. 17 and walked out of the store with six, choice strip steaks valued at $60.
“That’s not even prime beef,” Cook County Judge Peter Felice said. “You’re lucky if you can get choice beef out of that place.”
