Emil S. of Oak Lawn says: “Have been many times and will keep going back. The pizza is way above average and the pot roast egg rolls are exceptional. Service has always been great, usually a young woman from the neighborhood. They pour a great pint here too!”

Leslie C., of Chicago, says: “Walking in, the bar has an old school Irish pub feel which they have successfully captured with stained glass, dark wooden walls and bar cabinets, and assorted white and black photographs. Definitely your classic south side Irish bar decor and feel, love it.
"The people in the bar, seriously though..... There was a guy who greeted us so drunk that he was drinking a shot off the table with a straw. There were three other extremely drunk men who were wearing white crop top shirts with huge bellies hanging out. They explained that they had just joined a rugby team and were being initiated. Okay then.
"I want to come back here because this bar is nicer than most others in the area and offers something different from the Alsip bar scene, but I don't know if I can stomach drinking with some of those people again if they're regulars.”
The Chieftain Irish Pub, 6906-08 W 111th St., Worth | 4 stars
Ted D., of Willow Springs, says: “A good place to get your drink on and hear some live music. The place was packed, but good fast service. Fair priced beers with guitar music to boot. Definitely a dive bar with authentic regulars and a friendly feel.”
Fox’s Restaurant And Pub, 9240 S Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn| 4 stars
Jay W., of Chicago, says: “Come here every year around St Patrick's Day. The place is all decked out with an Irish theme, Irish music, even live music. The corn beef is really good, I like it when it's thin sliced. The pizza is also really good. The service was not great but for such a big party we had, staying over 3 hours, I’ll let it slide.”
Porter Cullen’s, 3541 W. 99th St., Evergreen Park (between Clifton Park Ave. and Central Park Ave./ Mount Greenwood) | 5 Stars
Jeff E., of Joliet, says: “This is not your typical south side Irish pub with dark interiors and questionable food. On the contrary, Porter Cullens has a modern and fresh interior appointed with comfortable furnishings and an attention to detail. My wife really liked the old fashioned light bulbs and the beautiful marble bar.”
Durbin’s Pub, 10240 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park | 3 Stars
Justin S., of Chicago, says: “A nice comfy Irish Pub, just the way it should be. Just got here after the South Side Irish Parade, and the place is hopping. People, live music (playing Bowie just now, and playing it well), beer, food, TVs with sports, just what you want is here. I've always had a soft spot for this place, and each time I come, I remember why.”
