Oak Lawn Park District Preschool Registration
Registration is currently being accepted for the Oak Lawn Park District’s Preschool classes.
Learn as you Grow I and Playschool is for 3 year olds. Sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays, September through December, 2014 and January through May 2015. Times are 9:00-11:30 am or 12:00 – 2:30 pm.

Learn As You Grow I will be held at the Little White Building, 9514 S. 54th Avenue, and Playschool will be held at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th Street. The fee is $670 for residents and $752 for non-residents. There are three payment options available and a $50 non-refundable deposit is included in the fee.
Learn as you Grow II and Prep School is for 4 year olds. Sessions are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from September through December, 2014 and January through May, 2015 and runs from 9:00-11:30 am or 12:30-2:30 pm at the Little White Building, 9514 S. 54th Avenue. Prep School runs from 9:00-11:30 am or 12:00-2:30 pm at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th Street. The fee is $1,000 for residents and $1,124 for non-residents. There are three payment options available and a $50 non-refundable deposit is included in the fee.

“Annie” to be Performed at the Oak Lawn Park District
The Oak Lawn Park District Theatre production of “Annie” will be running at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St., on Friday, May 30, Saturday, May 31, Thursday, June 5 (added show date), Friday, June 6, and Saturday, June 7 at 8:00pm and on Sunday June 1st and Sunday, June 8th at 3:00pm.
Tickets are $23 for adults and $22 for seniors and children, twelve and under.

Family Fun Challenge
Bring the whole family together for the Oak Lawn Park District’s new special event, The Famazing Race, Family Fun Challenge, sponsored by the Oak Lawn Firefighters Union.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 14th, from 9:00am-1:00pm, to gather your family for some friendly competition at Centennial Park (9401 S. Oak Park Avenue).
Teams consisting of at least one adult and child (ages 5 & up) will compete in a series of exciting challenges (physical and mental) and race to the finish to win some great prizes!
Pre-registration is required by Sunday, June 8th. The registration fee for the first two team members is $20 and $5 for each additional team member. Teams registered after the deadline will be assessed a $5 late fee.
Registration forms can be found at www.olparks.com or at any park district facility front desk. Completed forms and payment must be returned to a park district facility.
Dress in a theme to be entered to win the costume contest.

Oak Lawn Park District Aquatics Classes
Water Safety/Water Fun/Level 6
The Oak Lawn Park District is offering a Water Safety/Water Fun/Level 6 aquatics class. This class is offered to participants, ages 12 & up, who have comfortably and successfully passed Youth Advanced Level 5.
Classes are held at the Oak Lawn Park District’s Central Pool, 9400 S. Kenton Ave., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 – 6:30pm, from June 17 – July 24.
Participant will continue to refine all strokes so participant will swim them with ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances. Participants will learn: personal water safety, group water safety, basic skills for teaching and assisting with water safety classes, pre-lifeguard readiness, and fitness swimmer skills. Participants will be trained in CPR and 1st Aid and may receive certification if test is passed.
Class number is #2134 and the resident fee is $105 and non-resident fee is $125.
New Water Polo Instructional Class
The Oak Lawn Park District is offering a NEW Water Polo Instruction class.
In this class, students ages 8 – 13, will be introduced to Water Polo with an emphasis on skill development, basics of the game and strategy in a competitive and fun environment.
Class number is #2134-1 and runs Monday – Thursday, from 10:00 – 11:00am, from June 16 through June 26th at the Centennial Aquatic Center, 9401 S. Nashville Ave.
No Experience is needed but basic swim skills are required.
The instructor is Richards High School Water Polo Coach, Joel Stazewski.
The fee is $75 for residents and $89 for non-residents.
