Vendors and Sponsors Invited To Small Business Clinic

OAK LAWN, IL -- The Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce is looking for vendors and sponsors for the third annual Small Business Clinic on May 17. The purpose of the Small Business Clinic is to help businesses grow by facilitating connections with resources, customers, and potential partners. Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m.; the event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave.

There is NO COST to attend. Come out for an hour or the day, attend one or more free breakfast sessions on small business topics, connect with free state-sponsored assist agencies, and grab a bite from South Side staple Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe and Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn.

Last year’s clinic brought out nearly 180 business owners, managers and professionals from the area. The clinic offers numerous opportunities to generate business leads. The cost for vendor/exhibitors is $50 for chamber members; $75 for non-chamber members.

Sponsorships are also available at various levels and include the cost of the table, plus GREAT exposure for your business. Proceeds will be donated back to local high school students pursuing business as a career. If you want to get some GREAT exposure for your business.

Attendees, vendors and sponsors will gain such benefits as:

• Meet and connect with local businesses;
• Access to small business organizations;
• Attend free business seminars and learn from industry professionals;
• Get products/services in front of local buyers with an exhibit table or sponsorship;

• Network and enjoy light snacks, refreshments and more.

Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE, Small Business Development Centers, lawyers, marketers, web designers, consultants, printers, IT specialists, insurance agents, banks, lenders, health care professionals and many other valuable resources will be available to talk to small business owners. The representatives will also be leading FREE workshops throughout the clinic.

The Small Business Clinic is FREE and open to the public. The clinic is being hosted by Midwest Business Consultants, Bedford Park Clearing Industrial Association, the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce and the Bridgeview Chamber of Commerce.
