The varsity boys track team from Richards High School clinched the South Suburban Conference Red Division championship on Thursday night with a bit of flair.
Assistant coach Dimitri Dimizas recorded this video of the 200m dash. This race proved pivotal to the Bulldogs winning the SSC Red championship.
"We knew we would win the meet if we placed well in the 200m since it was the second to last event of the night. The guys stepped up by finishing first (Anthony Perry) and second (Tristian Whitaker) to put the final nail in the coffin!" coach said.
