Video: String Orchestra at D218 Arts Extravaganza

When Eisenhower High School band director Dr. Justin Antos introduces the String Orchestra, you can't miss the pride in his voice. It's understandable.

None of these students touched a stringed instrument prior to enrolling at Eisenhower and yet every one earned a medal at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble competition this year.

And for the third straight year String Orchestra earned a Division 1 rating, the highest, at the IHSA Organizational Contest.

String Orchestra once again provided one of the highlights of Arts Extravaganza.
