Village of Oak Lawn Water Department Joins Cleanup Efforts After Devastating Storms

In the wake of the powerful storms that swept through Oak Lawn, village employees have been working tirelessly to help restore normalcy throughout the community. The storms left behind significant damage, including fallen trees, large branches, and debris blocking streets across the village.

While residents were doing their part to help neighbors, employees from multiple Village departments were also hard at work behind the scenes. Members of the Village of Oak Lawn Water Department stepped up to assist the Streets Department with the massive cleanup effort, helping remove large tree branches and debris from roadways to make streets safer and more accessible for residents.

Among those working very hard all day were Chris, Manny, and Sam as cleanup operations continued throughout the village. Their teamwork and dedication reflect the commitment of Oak Lawn's public works employees, who often work long hours during emergencies to keep the community safe.
