Visitation and Funeral Set This Weekend For Beloved Burbank Pastor

BURBANK, IL -- Visitation and funeral services are set Rev. Dr. Earl L. Peters, former pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Burbank. Peters served as the church’s pastor from 1971 to 2007. He was beloved by church members.

Peters was the beloved husband of the late Sharon M. (nee Behrens); loving father of Rev. Bill (Dr. Anita) Peters, Laurie (Dan) Badovinac, Sue (Jay) Strezo and Mary (Dow) Smith; cherished grandfather of Dave (Tabitha), Luke, Tim (Nicole), Zach, Peter, Danny, Ellie (Cody) Luebken, Becky, Anna, Micah, Jonny and Joshua; devoted great grandfather of Payton, Matthew, Nathan and Mia; dearest brother of Carl (Marlene) and Elroy Peters; dear brother-in-law of John Behrens; fond uncle of Jeff and Rick (Loretta) Peters; dear great uncle of Prie Anna.

Visitation will take place from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Rd. (5500W) Burbank. A second visitation will take place at 2 p.m. until time of service 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 8607 S. Narragansett Burbank.
