Volunteer Drivers Needed to Deliver Meals to Elderly Neighbors

PLOWS Council on Aging looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in local area.

The PLOWS Council on Aging has added new meal routes and is in need of more volunteer drivers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to some hungry elderly neighbors.

This valuable service can mean the difference between our elderly neighbors being able to remain in their homes or being placed in a nursing home. Older people who are unable to shop or prepare meals for themselves rely on the nutritious hot meals PLOWS provides.

Volunteers commit to drive one morning per week, with routes taking approximately 2-3 hours from start to finish. Deliveries are Monday through Friday in the morning – no weekend or evening commitment.
