Warrant Issued for Alleged 'Jump and Dasher'

BRIDGEVIEW, IL -- A $25,000 arrest warrant was issued for a 26-year-old woman who allegedly ran out of an indoor playland without paying the bill for a children’s birthday party. Chemonte Mitchell, of Chicago, is wanted for theft. Bridgeview police told the judge that they have been unable to locate the woman.

Mitchell is wanted on a theft charge. According to the allegations, Mitchell hosted a children’s birthday party July 22 at Jump Zone, 10140 Virginia Ave. in Bridgeview. When it came time to pay the $220 bill, employees told police Mitchell and several other people ran out the rear exit door. Employees identified Mitchell from a photo array, the detective said.
